With all due respect, I think it might be time to get up and play a couple of 
songs at a blues jam. If you have been practicing for 3 years daily, you can 
probably follow along with a simple 12 bar blues progression.   No need to 
play anything elaborate. Play a simple rhythm or a simple lick and repeat.  Half 
the battle is just getting up there and giving it a shot. You'll learn more by 
trying than you can possibly imagine. So what if you don't sound great, who 
does their first few times onstage?
